    New price-capped houses promoted

Baoli Xizhi Bay has promoted its second batch of price-capped houses since its first batch of 843 apartments sold out.

The second batch consists of 556 apartments priced at 6,500 yuan per square meter, the same as that of the first batch.

Potential homebuyers may apply for the apartments at the government’s website Yang Guang Jiayuan (www.g4c.laho.gov.cn) from March 28 to April 16 and confirm the application at the residence within 20 days since March 28.

More eco-friendly gas applied though more expensive

Guangzhou will start to supply the more eco-friendly gasoline that applies for the vehicles of 3rd Phase of National Evaporative Emission Standard (NEES) all over the city, but the specific timetable is to be confirmed, said the principal of Motor Vehicle Pollution Control Department of Guangzhou Environmental Protection Bureau.

According to a vehicle exhaust emissions survey that sampled 20901 vehicles by Guangzhou Environment Protection Bureau last year, 30% of vehicles failed to meet the national standard.

The principal said, the supply of the more eco-friendly gasoline meant the ceasing of the gasoline that applied for the vehicles of 2nd Phase of NEES.

He expects each liter of the new gas will be about 0.1 Yuan more expensive. Therefore, the gas expense of a motor vehicle will averagely increase by 300 Yuan annually. However, vehicle owners can also benefit from the change. The eco-friendly gas can lower maintenance fees and lengthen the vehicles’ life.
